Minutes from

General PTA Meeting

May 21, 2008

The meeting was opened by Ms. Dollinger with a prayer.

Diane Hogan/ PTA President

The meeting was to be brief so as not to bore the parents from St. Ann’s and West Cape May Schools, who were here because their children were playing in the band.

Diane announced that blue voting ballots had been handed out with the board positions, and nominees that are up for election.  She asked that everyone fill one out, and return it to the PTA table.

Carnival

Our summer carnival needs a chairperson or a group of parents to work together on this event.  It requires a lot of leg work, and muscles (perhaps a Dad?) to make this a success.  Flyers have gone home in the Thursday envelopes.

Liz Connelly and Greg Coffey were thanked for all their hard work on the Golf Tournament.

Everyone was reminded that 1 in 40 tickets were available for purchase tonight, and also through the main office – see Bridget Inderwies.  Cost of a ticket is $100.  You can buy them individually, or get a group together.  First prize is $10,000.

Treasurer’s Report/ Maria Mulville

Maria announced that so far, including the golf tournament, we have made $30,035.  Copies of a detailed report were passed around to all.  If anyone had any questions, or did not get a report they were told to ask Maria.
