General PTA Meeting

November 14, 2007

The meeting was opened by Ms. Dollinger with a prayer.

Secretary’s Report – Minutes from the September Back to School Night meeting are available on the school’s web-site.

Treasurer’s Report – Given by Maria Mulville

The Carnival made just under $6,100. The Halloween Party made just over $2,700.

The total net for the year thus far is $9,188.00. Since our goal is $50,000, we have raised 20% of our goal.

We will be having a sub sale on December 14. Kathy Louderback and Mrs. Krause’s mom are both working on this.

Information will be going home in the Thursday envelope pertaining to a new scrip program. Please look for it. Families can earn ½ of the percentage given to the school towards a discount on their tuition. The orders will eventually be able to be taken on line. A check must be sent to school – no credit cards accepted.

Anyone who has any questions about the treasurer’s report can contact Maria in the school office.

Thanks to all who came out for the Round Table Meeting last month. A summary will be put together so we can see what suggestions were made, and how we can go about implementing some of them.

Thanks to Frank and Ann Zilinek for their work on the Halloween Party, and to Val Sorensen and Connie Mahon for their work in the kitchen for this event.

Thanksgiving Dinner – Nov. 19

The class reps will be contacting you for donations for this dinner. Please help them out.

Secret Santa – Dates are Dec. 6, 7, and 9.
